About Meredyth

A Texas Capitol veteran leading TMBA's legal & advocacy work.

Texas Capitol veteran Mere Fowler joined the Texas Mortgage Bankers Association as General Counsel and leads the association's governmental affairs team, following a successful tenure with the Texas Cable Association.

"Mere Fowler brings industry knowledge and experience along with a passion for our association and its members in her new role. We are grateful for the leadership and stability that the association has enjoyed for nearly 14 years under John Fleming, and with Mere Fowler we are excited about the future."
— Jodie Morgan, TMBA President
"I am grateful for every past experience from which I have learned throughout my career, and I am thrilled to join the Texas Mortgage Bankers Association. I believe great industries do not become successful because of a single person. Success is maintained and grown through a team of people. The Texas MBA has earned a long-standing stellar reputation, and I am excited to help continue the great work on behalf of the Texas mortgage industry."
— Meredyth Fowler
