The Texas Mortgage Bankers Association (TMBA) is the statewide trade association serving the real estate finance industry. For more than a century, TMBA has connected mortgage banking professionals with the resources, relationships, and representation they need to serve Texas borrowers and communities.
Our mission
TMBA exists to advance the real estate finance industry in Texas through advocacy before the Texas Capitol and regulatory agencies, high-quality education, peer connection, and a shared commitment to ethical standards and professional excellence.
What we do
- Advocacy. Representing the industry before the Texas Legislature, the Texas Department of Savings and Mortgage Lending (SML), and other regulatory bodies.
- Education. Programs like the Certified Mortgage Leader, the CMB Society of Texas, and our scholarship initiatives develop the next generation of leaders.
